Selaam Dollisso, Online Managing Editor

Selaam “Mother Africa” Dollisso is continuing her journalistic endeavors as The WEB’s Online Managing Editor for the 2017-18 school year and she couldn’t be more elated. You may remember her from her never-ending articles or maybe you’ve had the honor of hearing her name being butchered during attendance. She enjoys going to the public library with no particular book in mind and coming out with her chin pressed against a stack of seven, ranging in topic from climate change, Portuguese, and poetry (she hasn’t decided whether she’s eclectic or just indecisive- oh wait). On the topic of eclecticism, a few songs that collectively encapsulate her being without words: Innervisions by Stevie Wonder, Safari by J Balvin, and Erik Satie’s Gymnopedie no. 1.
