If you ask anybody at Ames High what the biggest crisis currently facing our community is, we can guarantee the answer will be parking lots. The concept is a beautiful one—all us human beings sharing a plot of land marked off in white or yellow painted boxes in order to park our cars. But seriously. Have you ever been to a parking lot? There isn’t even enough room to park our WEB-mobile! Plus, then we have to walk all the way to the building from the parking lot, which is just lame, and if we’re late to class, then it’s even lamer (second semester seniors, mostly!!!!!). We need to change. And we say this not just for the benefit of ourselves, but for that of our fellow global citizens. Abolish parking lots! Can’t we just park the WEB-mobile in front of the WEB room?
