World Food Prize Convention provides unique cultural opportunities
Every year, a few Ames High students are given the opportunity to attend the World Food Prize Convention, a week long event that brings American teenagers together with influential world leaders. At the convention, which occurs during mid-October, speakers from around the world present information that centers around the convention’s annual topic. This year, the focus was on the topic of confronting the hunger challenges of tomorrow.
