Inspirational Facebook Quotes

Inspirational Facebook Quotes By Kendall Stow If you look at the Facebook wall of the average teenage girl, you are most likely going to see a plethora of “inspirational” quotes re-posted as statuses from chick flicks, celebrities, and Nicholas Sparks novels. The phenomenon of copying and pasting inspirational quotes from websites such as Pinterest to broadcast to friends and family members might seem heartwarming to the “poster”, but can often be perceived by many readers as annoying, attention-seeking and most prominently vomit inducing. As you may be currently asking, where do these truly inspiring quotes come from? A common source of inspiration for the troubled teenager includes quotes from popular country and pop songs. Artists such as Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift are quoted quite frequently on Facebook. “I love Justin Bieber, he is so hot! He inspires me to wake up each morning and tackle the day,” said Ames High junior and facebook aficionada Betsy Stow. “His song Boyfriend is my morning alarm.” Another common source of inspirational Facebook status material are movies. Quotes from movies such as The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Last Song, and Justin Bieber: Never Say Never are often featured in facebook statuses. “My favorite movies are the Notebook and Never Say Never ,” said Stow. “I like to post quotes from movies to inspire others and to inspire myself.” Who knows, maybe reading an inspirational Facebook status could just give you the motivation for you to achieve your dreams, or maybe it will make you swim in a pool of your own vomit and block your own sister on Facebook. I can think of no better way to bring this subject to a close than with Betsy Stow’s most recent Facebook status update: “How others see you is not important… how you see yourself means everything :)”.
